Frequently asked Questions

  • I have a valid NCID and I am creating proposals in the proposer side of the online platform. What do I do to become a reviewer? Please inform Andrew (Andrew.Sioberg@dpi.nc.gov) you need access to the reviewer side. Include in the email the areas/subjects you are qualified to review. He will use your connection with the proposal side of the platform to grant access for reviewing. You will continue to be able to submit proposals as well.

  • I am interested but do not have a valid NCID yet. Click here to view a guide for registering for the NCID. Once the NCID is grated, navigate to the online review platform: https://schools.nc.gov/ProposalReview. Enter the site using your new NCID and user name and click on the box that indicates this is your first time in the system. Once in, provide contact information (name, email, phone number) and indicate you are applying to be a program reviewer. Once this information is in, the system will send us an email to approve your subscription to Educator Preparation Program Proposal Reviewer platform.

  • I am interested and I have an NCID but have not yet subscribed: Access the platform at https://schools.nc.gov/ProposalReview, Enter your NCID and user name and click on the box that indicates this is your first time in the system. Once in, provide contact information (name, email, phone number) and indicate you are applying to be a program reviewer. The system will automatically send us an email to approve your subscription to the Educator Preparation Program Proposal Reviewer platform.

  • I think I did everything. When will I get to review a proposal? Once you are in the system, it may take some time before you are tapped to do a review. The assignment of proposals for review is contingent on the content of the proposals submitted and whether a proposal is aligned with your area(s) of expertise. You may be assigned a program to review immediately or several weeks later depending on these conditions. There is no reason to periodically check into the system to see if you are assigned. Anytime you are assigned a proposal to review, an automated email will be sent to you with links to the review system and the Google Reviewers Evaluation form.

  • I have looked through this webpage and my question is still not answered. Reach out to us and ask. We will be happy to help you. Our contact information is listed below.
